Using sport as catalyst for keeping kids of streets and changing mind-sets among UAAC members was invented by Archbishop Dr EMM Mureri in 2014. To ensure the success of the initiative, he used to personally attend the tournaments that were held at the Head Quarters Soccer Grounds. During such games, he would encourage the youth to participate in sports and went as far as saying that UAAC members should even form a mini-league wherein they will compete against each other. About 3 tournaments took place in Limpopo Province, whilst some individual games were held in Gauteng over the years.

The UAAC will continue staging the tournaments to keep the youngsters from the fit for a healthy mind and general life.

Peace be unto all!!
