We Believe In The Gospel
Our members believe in full divinity, atoning death and bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and also in the Bible as God’s word, fully inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ, Son of God, the only Savior, is the way, the truth and the life, and through Him alone, we find and enter the kingdom of God and attain eternal life.
Christian lifestyle
Members of the UAAC are encouraged to be honest and dependable at all times. They are also expected to abstain from taking and abusing alcohol, smoking, sexual promiscuity and violence, including xenophobic attacks. Members have to abide by the scriptures in their daily activities. To them, Christianity is a lifestyle, not an occasional Sunday activity.
Under the direction of the late honourable Archbishop Dr EM Mureri, the UAAC has undoubtedly become a force in human conduct and spirituality in all communities. He has also successfully established relations with Kings, Chiefs, headmen, local authorities and all the levels of government. As a result, the UAAC is known and recognized throughout the country.
Growth
The UAAC is the second largest African initiated church in South Africa with membership throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries such Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania and Botswana. It also has membership in Denmark. Within South Africa, the church has countless branches in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, Northern Cape, Western Cape, Gauteng, Free State and Eastern Cape Provinces. In total the UAAC has over 1.5 million registered members.
Despite all these, the UAAC still enjoys significant growth in terms of membership and geographical extension, not only in size, but in its message as it is able to touch thousands of people in the SADC region. Through message and deliverance, many people have witnessed the greatness of almighty God.
Youth membership
Youth membership is also growing steadily as the church encourages young people to take education seriously whilst at the same time assisting the financially challenged. Through the youth development department, the UAAC has assisted those who are in financial difficulties and disadvantaged with a long term goal of alleviating and fighting the scourge of poverty, albeit with limited resources.
When you speak the word of God over your situations, That’s when you put your faith to work.
One of the major ways we demonstrate our new life in Christ is by becoming a servant, which means to commit ourselves to living for God instead of ourselves.
When I’m in the house of God, I don’t wear my jewelry, if you’re looking for my jewelry. All you see is my heart of gold.
