In Loving Memory of Our beloved Archbishop Dr EMM Mureri: 02 February 1940 – 22 December 2018
With profound sadness, we remember his call for unity, unconditional love and Peace. His untimely death remains a thorn in our hearts. We made a vow to cherish all the good memories he spent with us as a church.
A God-fearing Father, Spiritual leader, Visionary, Prophet, humble servant of the people, Teacher of Peace, healer of the soul, mediator, conciliator and above all a fountain of wisdom to nations. His humility, humanity, compassion and love for peace and unity earned him love and respect amongst all.
Throughout his life, he dedicated his life to spread the Word of GOD and praying for peace. Through his unrelenting efforts, the UAAC became a household name in South Africa and spread to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries such as Zimbabwe, Botswana, Tanzania and Zambia, to name but a few.
As the church, we are deeply grateful for the gift of life. Even as we mourn his life, we urge all those who loved and followed him to celebrate this remarkable Spiritual leader.
The church is also grateful for the messages of support from all the people, both in the RSA and abroad.
May his beautiful Soul rest in eternal Peace.
Mulalo Mbofhoni ya Jonanditi.
